DURATION: Jan 2026 - Dec 2026 (with 24-month extension)

LOCATION: Primarily HYBRID in Edmonton

The role is expected to follow a hybrid model, which may include a minimum of three days in the office typically Tuesdays Wednesdays and one other scheduled day.

Must Haves:

Certification in The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF).

8 years of demonstrated experience leading cross-functional agile product teams, providing architectural direction, and mentoring developers and technical leads.

5 years of Experience architecting, managing, and maintaining Azure Red Hat OpenShift clusters.

8 years of Experience identifying and assessing requirements within multiple architecture domains e.g. business, application, technology, data/information, security, and privacy.

7 years of Experience in documenting application architectures in an enterprise IT environment equivalent in size and complexity to the Government

7 years of Experience in planning, designing, implementing and supporting platform solutions in an enterprise IT environment equivalent in size and complexity to the Government

8 years of Experience providing leadership, planning, estimating, and presentations of ideas and solutions.

Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field of study.

Criminal Records Check and Enhanced Security Clearance including a credit check is required prior to commencement.

Nice to have:

5 years of collaborating with data architects, engineers and analysts to design and optimize cloud architecture and services.

5 years of Experience in contributing or developing application architecture standards and guidelines.

5 years of Experience working as an application architect designing or maintaining solutions that use enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) hub architecture registries.

5 years of Experience working as an application architect developing a solution using amCharts charting framework in an enterprise IT environment equivalent in size and complexity to the Government

5 years of Experience working as an application architect developing mobile solutions in an enterprise IT environment equivalent in size and complexity to the Government

5 years of Experience working with Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) Top Ten Web Application Security Flaws.
