We're seeking an experienced Employment Development Consultant to join our Employment Services team within Community Services & Development.
Job OverviewMSWA is seeking a new team member to join our rapidly growing Specialist Employment Support Service team in a full-time capacity to play a pivotal part in supporting people diagnosed with MS and acquired neurological conditions to acquire new employment opportunities.
You will be well supported by structured induction/training, supervision, and a large team of passionate allied health professionals that put the client first.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated and able to work both autonomously and as part of a team, with excellent organisational, planning, and time management skills.

- Undertaking job seeker assessments with support from our allied health team
- Create and or restructure resumes, cover and application letters
- Reverse market job seekers to suitable job vacancies
- Build long term sustainable relationships with employers for our job seekers
- Assist job seekers to obtain suitable employment
- Managing an optimal caseload of 50 clients
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in employment services, disability support, or community work
- Relevant Cert IV or higher is a big plus
- Passion for inclusive employment
- Understanding of the real-world barriers people with disabilities face
- Clear communication, genuine empathy, and problem-solving skills
- Able to thrive both independently and as part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary team
Please note: The appointed candidate must successfully complete a National Police Check (possibly an International Police Check) and an NDIS worker check prior to the commencement of employment.
