Job Summary:

Valley Regional Medical Center is seeking an Emergency Medicine APP to join our emergency medicine team in the South Padre Island area.

Qualified Candidates:

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Emergency Medicine experience is required
• New graduates are not accepted

• 45,000 Annual volume with steady growth
• 2.2 patients per hour
• 36 hours of physician coverage per day
• 36 hours of APP coverage
• 22 bed Emergency Department
• Level III trauma center
• Primary Stroke Center
• Primary PCI
• 24 hours of Intensivist and Hospitalist coverage
• Dedicated Women's Center with dedicated L&D ED
