Job Description

Electronics Test Technician required for a leading OEM manufacturer of test & analysis equipment for the oil and gas sector. As an Electronics Test Technician role you will be undertaking various electronic LV test techniques to ensure that the components and wiring are complete and fit for purpose. There are two shifts available for this role.

The Electronics Test Technician must have:
Advanced knowledge of electro/mechanical components.
A high level of understanding of digital/analogue circuitry theory.
Proven experience of troubleshooting to a component level.
A good working knowledge of multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers, and other test instruments.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, electronic schematics, and parts lists.
Skills on soldering and assembling of electronic components.
Ability to work independently.
5+ Years experience as an Electronic Technician.

Shifts available for the Electronics Test Technician:
Monday to Thursday 08:00-17:00 and Friday 08:00-13:00 paying 28.00 per hour. Overtime is available and paid at T1.5.
Monday to Thursday 15:45-01:30 paying 32.00 per hour (includes shift allowance). Overtime is available and paid at T1.5 of the base rate ( 28.00).

Initially the Electronics Test Technician role will be contract (Inside IR35).
