Job Summary
Working from Sizewell B power station in Suffolk, we are seeking enthusiastic, fully qualified 18th Edition Electrician to join our growing team working in the Nuclear sector. The ideal candidate will be currently vetted with appropriate site clearance, although full vetting and clearance can be obtained for the right candidate. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems within the nuclear generation industry. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems and the ability to work safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with BS7671
Troubleshoot electrical issues and conduct repairs as needed.
Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Skills

Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools related to electrical work.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients effectively.
Commitment to safety practices in all aspects of work.
18th Edition Qualification.
NVQ Level 3 / AM2
1+ years of experience working as an electrician as part of a team and alone.
Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
