Manpower is partnering with a leading manufacturing business in Wigan to find a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer. This is a dynamic, hands-on role where you'll keep production machinery running smoothly, reduce downtime, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Your Shift Pattern
-
Monday-Thursday: 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm / 10pm-6am

Friday: 6am-12pm / 12pm-6pm / 6pm-12am
What you'll be doing
-
Respond to breakdowns and carry out reactive maintenance
-
Perform planned maintenance (PM) and condition-based monitoring (CBM)

Analyse plant performance and recommend improvements
-
Manage spare parts and coordinate with the operations team

Maintain safety, health, and environmental standards
Who we're looking for
-
Minimum 2 years' experience in a maintenance or engineering role
-
Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent (HNC in Electrical Engineering desirable)
-
Skilled with AC/DC equipment, inverters, and PLCs (Allen Bradley preferred)
-
Strong fault-finding, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
-
Flexible, hands-on, and ready to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
