What You'll Be Doing

As a senior leader within Group Information Security, you will shape and lead the strategic direction of Security Operations across Chalhoub Group. You will be accountable for delivering a resilient, intelligence-led, and globally integrated cyber defense function that protects our customers, brands, systems, and operations.

Security Operations Centre (SOC) Strategy & Leadership

• Lead Chalhoub's global 24/7 Security Operations Centre, ensuring high-performing, business-aligned threat detection and response operations across onshore and offshore teams.
• Define and execute a SOC maturity roadmap, integrating technologies such as SIEM, SOAR, UEBA, EDR, and XDR to enable proactive detection and automated response.
• Maintain and continually improve SLAs and KPIs related to detection, investigation, triage, escalation, and incident resolution.
  
  

Advanced Threat Monitoring & Intelligence

• Oversee continuous monitoring of the Group's technology estate across cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP), on-premise, network, endpoint, and application layers.
• Establish and operationalize a formal Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) function, combining internal telemetry with external feeds (e.g., vendors, ISACs, national CERTs).
• Deliver regular threat landscape briefings and actionable intelligence reports to executive leadership and governance forums.
  
  

Incident Response & Enterprise Crisis Management

• Lead the Group's cyber incident response capability, governing playbooks, runbooks, escalation protocols, and digital forensics investigations.
• Serve as the executive coordinator during major incidents, aligning with Legal, Risk, Communications, and Business Continuity teams.
• Conduct enterprise-wide cyber crisis exercises with technology and business leaders to validate readiness and reinforce accountability.
  
  

Vulnerability & Exposure Management

• Direct Chalhoub's vulnerability management lifecycle, from scanning and validation to remediation tracking and reporting across infrastructure, applications, and cloud platforms.
• Embed secure release processes in partnership with IT Operations, DevOps, and Product teams to ensure risk-based remediation is prioritised.
• Produce executive dashboards and actionable risk exposure reports for leadership visibility and informed decision-making.
  
  

Third-Party Security Operations (MSSP) & Tooling

• Own strategic oversight of all Managed Security Service Providers, ensuring performance, accountability, and value creation.
• Define and enforce SLAs, governance cadences, and continuous improvement initiatives across all outsourced operations.
• Drive contract performance, commercial optimisation, and scope alignment with evolving threat landscape and internal capabilities.
  
  

Tooling Integration & Automation

• Lead the adoption of modern defence technologies and automation strategies, maximising efficiency through SOAR playbooks, API integrations, and machine-led investigation/containment.
• Evaluate and onboard emerging detection and response tools that support a future-ready cyber defense posture.
  
  

Performance Reporting, Maturity & Continuous Improvement

• Deliver structured reporting and executive dashboards covering SOC effectiveness, incident trends, SLA adherence, and threat evolution.
• Continuously benchmark operational maturity using frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, NIST CSF, and CMMI.
• Institutionalise post-incident reviews, lessons-learned cycles, and cross-functional feedback loops to evolve operational capability.
  
  

What You'll Need To Succeed

• 10-15 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years leading Security Operations in a regional or global enterprise.
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Advanced degree (MBA, MS InfoSec) preferred.
• Relevant certifications (minimum 2): GCIH, GCIA, CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP, or equivalent.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing 24x7 SOCs, cloud security operations, and incident response at scale.
• Industry exposure in retail, e-commerce, luxury, or fast-paced B2C environments is highly preferred.
