The Director of Corporate Communications will lead the organisation's communications strategy, ensuring alignment with government directives and organisational objectives. This role covers internal and external communications, branding, media relations, and stakeholder engagement to enhance reputation and visibility.
Client DetailsThe hiring organisation is a large public sector entity based in Abu Dhabi, focused on economic development and policy implementation. It partners with public and private sectors to foster innovation and consistently improve the global positioning of the region.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic communication plans aligned with organisational and government objectives.
- Oversee internal and external communications, including media, marketing, and PR activities.
- Manage branding and corporate identity across all platforms and initiatives.
- Supervise events, public announcements, and protocol management.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders.
- Lead risk management and contingency planning for communications.
- Drive innovation in communication strategies to strengthen organisational image.
- Minimum 9 years' experience in marketing / corporate communications, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
- Proven success in organisational transformation and change management.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams of 10+.
- Expertise in marketing, branding, and stakeholder engagement.
- Fluency in Arabic and English; excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Master's degree in Business Administration or Communications preferred.
