As the Customs Broker, you'll be responsible for managing all customs brokerage activities, from compliance and documentation to client engagement and technical operations. You'll operate your department as a profit and loss centre, ensuring efficient customs clearances and smooth coordination with domestic and international teams. Your day to day as a Customs Broker will include:
- Managing local customs operations
- Ensuring adherence to Australian import/export regulations
- Overseeing customs documentation and clearance accuracy
- Liaising with logistics and freight forwarding teams
- Driving business development to expand the client base, particularly within automotive logistics
What You'll Bring
- A current Customs Broker License recognised in Australia
- Proven experience in import/export and customs compliance
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with the automotive logistics sector (highly regarded)
- Australian Permanent Residency or equivalent work rights
