Lead the Customs Brokerage Function

As the Customs Broker, you'll be responsible for managing all customs brokerage activities, from compliance and documentation to client engagement and technical operations. You'll operate your department as a profit and loss centre, ensuring efficient customs clearances and smooth coordination with domestic and international teams. Your day to day as a Customs Broker will include:

  • Managing local customs operations
  • Ensuring adherence to Australian import/export regulations
  • Overseeing customs documentation and clearance accuracy
  • Liaising with logistics and freight forwarding teams
  • Driving business development to expand the client base, particularly within automotive logistics

What You'll Bring

  • A current Customs Broker License recognised in Australia
  • Proven experience in import/export and customs compliance
  • Excellent stakeholder communication skills and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with the automotive logistics sector (highly regarded)
  • Australian Permanent Residency or equivalent work rights
