Job Summary
An exciting opportunity exists to join Council as a Customer Service Officer within a highly valued Customer Service Team, providing service to our community in a variety of ways including face-to-face, over the phone, live chat and other written channels.

About the Role
In this role you will:
- Be the first point of contact for Council's in-person, phone and live chat enquiries
- Have the ability to communicate with a wide variety of people in a professional and courteous manner
- Be able to adopt a collaborative and flexible approach to problem solving and information sharing
- Be a strong team player with a can-do approach
About the Successful Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a background in customer service
- Has strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Has outstanding personal organisation and time management skills
- Thrives in a team environment and is also confident working autonomously
- Contributes to positive team culture
- Is available to work both 8:20am - 5:05pm and 9:50am - 4:05pm shifts
