The Customer Implementation Specialist reports to the Customer Implementation Manager and will serve as the hub of the Customer Implementation network, specializing in assigned Universal divisions to ensure a seamless launch of business.
Essential Functions:
Serve as the customer's main point of contact for back office administration.
Receive and process customer information and disseminate to stakeholders.
Ask and record customer specific requirements and information to create action items.
Track action items needed to ensure customer requirements are being met prior to the effective date.
Escalate approaching and missed deadlines.
Enter and keep up to date customer information in project tracking system.
Validate the accuracy of customer required changes and updates to their account.
Maintain open communication channels for the duration of the customer relationship.
Additional Responsibilities:
Hold corporate administration access to customer portals and manage and maintain all stakeholders' access.
Enter EDI tickets to start EDI implementation and communicate with the EDI team during the process.
Identify current processes that could be implemented by a robot.
Identify other areas for automation.
Perform route cause analysis on delinquent accounts.
Communicate with stakeholders process changes.
Complete any other department duties that are assigned.
Job Qualifications:
Transportation experience a plus.
This position requires high school education.
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
Ability to communicate effectively through email and phone.
Must have strong organizational skills and have the ability to multi task in a face paced work environment.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to provide excellent customer service both internally and externally.
Must be capable to work independently.
Must have outstanding telephone and email skills.
Must be able to set priorities and manage time well.
