This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented Temporary Credit Controller to join a well-established Retail business in Bristol. You'll be joining a supportive finance team during a period of growth and change, where your contribution will be highly valued. In this role, you'll take ownership of the credit control function, ensuring the smooth and timely collection of outstanding payments. You'll be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with clients, resolving queries efficiently, and supporting the wider finance team with reporting and reconciliation tasks.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is confident in communicating with a wide range of stakeholders. The role offers a great opportunity to gain experience in the healthcare sector, with the potential to transition into a permanent position for the right candidate.
Key responsibilities include:
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience in a credit control or similar finance roleStrong communication and negotiation skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently and manage workload effectivelyExperience using accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, or similar) is desirable.
