Position: Crane Operator

Location: Abu Dhabi

Salary: 5700 AED

Rotation: 90/30

Responsibilities

Operate various types of cranes, such as mobile, tower, and overhead cranes, to lift and move heavy equipment and materials on oil and gas sites
Conduct pre-operational checks and inspections of the crane to ensure it is in safe and working condition
Communicate with site supervisors and other team members to determine the best approach for lifting and moving materials
Rig and secure loads to the crane using appropriate techniques and equipment
Monitor and maintain the crane's stability and safe operation during lifting and moving activities
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of yourself and others on the job site
Keep accurate records of crane operations, including load weights, times, and any incidents or issues that may arise
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on the crane as needed
Train and supervise new crane operators as required

Qualifications

High secondary diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years of experience operating cranes in an oil and gas environment
Valid crane operator certification and license
Knowledge of crane safety procedures and regulations
Ability to read and interpret load charts and blueprints
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions
Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
Fluent in English, both verbal and written
Experience operating other heavy equipment, such as forklifts and bulldozers, is an asset
