As we scale, we're looking for a Cost Accountant who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and is passionate about turning numbers into insights that drive smart decisions.
What You'll DoAs the Cost Accountant , you'll be the financial backbone of our production operations-analyzing costs, optimizing margins, and helping leadership make data-informed decisions. You'll work closely with production, procurement, and finance teams to ensure every dollar is accounted for and every process is cost-effective.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and report on manufacturing costs, variances, and inventory valuation
Maintain and update standard costs for materials, labor, and overhead
Partner with operations to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
Prepare monthly cost reports and support financial close activities
Monitor inventory transactions and perform cycle count reconciliations
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and capital expenditure analysis
Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of standard costing, BOMs, and inventory systems
Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, or similar)
Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive mindset
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit
