Bupa Greenacre is a modern care home set in the south west of Sydney. You'll be close to the local community with neighbouring schools, parks and a shopping centre nearby. It consists of 138 beds, with a variety of care units. Our primary goal is placing our focus on the health, lifestyle and well being of our residents.

As a Cook at one of our care homes you will provide well presented and nutritious meals in a home like environment. Your passion for food along with your person first approach will make a real difference to the life of our residents.
This role is permanent part time with minimum 2 days/week Duties- Plan and prepare well balanced and nutritious meals for our residents
- Liaise with residents, families, and the care team to ensure residents' dietary, individual and cultural needs are met
- Support the efficient functioning of kitchen and catering services
- Comply with all infection control and food safety procedures
- Perform administrative duties related to the kitchen operation such as stock taking, and food quality assessment
- Previous experience in the preparation and delivery of meals within a similar environment
- Certificate in Commercial Cookery or equivalent is preferred but not essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to solve problems independently
