Ponchos Pub & Grill is a beloved restaurant and bar in the heart of Whitewood, Saskatchewan, known for its warm hospitality and exceptional dining experiences. We are a gathering place for locals and travelers, offering delicious food, refreshing beverages, and a welcoming atmosphere. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cook to lead our team and uphold the high standards that make us a community favorite. Responsibilities Co-ordinate special events Determine the size of food portions and costs Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization Requisition food and kitchen supplies Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef Inspect kitchens and food service areas Order supplies and equipment Supervise kitchen staff and helpers Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment Clean kitchen and work areas Organize buffets and banquets Requirements: Minimum of 1 years of experience in cook or a related role. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing demands. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
