Westaffed is seeking a highly competent and dedicated Consultant Urologist to join our esteemed urology team. In this essential role, you will provide expert care for patients with a diverse range of urological conditions, including urinary tract infections, kidney stones, prostate disorders, and urological cancers. You will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing both benign and malignant urologic diseases, utilizing both surgical and non-surgical treatment modalities. Your expertise and compassionate approach will significantly enhance patient outcomes and well-being. Additionally, this position offers opportunities for involvement in clinical research, collaboration with other specialists, and education of medical trainees. Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients with urological disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's condition.
  • Perform urological surgeries, including minimally invasive techniques, robotic-assisted procedures, and other necessary interventions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care for complex urological cases.
  • Educate patients and families regarding urological health, treatment options, and preventive measures.
  • Engage in clinical research projects to advance knowledge and improve practices within urology.
  • Participate in the training and supervision of medical students, residents, and junior urology staff.
Requirements
  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with completion of a Urology residency program.
  • Board certification in Urology is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a urology practice preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills in diagnosing and managing a variety of urological conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and advancement in urological practices.
