Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough evaluations and diagnostic assessments to determine the necessity of surgical interventions
• Execute a variety of general surgical procedures with precision and care
• Administer pre-operative and post-operative patient management, ensuring optimal recovery
• Work closely with other medical professionals to create and implement comprehensive treatment plans
• Educate patients and their families on surgical options, risks, and recovery processes
• Engage in continuous professional development and remain informed of advancements in surgical practices
• Document all patient interactions, procedures, and outcomes accurately
• Participate in research and quality assurance initiatives to improve care standards
  
  

• Medical Doctor (MD) or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution
• Completion of a residency in General Surgery
• Board certification in General Surgery is required
• Minimum 5 years of relevant clinical experience in a consultant position
• Proficiency in a wide range of general surgical techniques
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on patient care
• A commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous improvement
• Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail
• Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous
