Compensation Analyst Overland Park, KS

LHH is partnering with a client that is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Compensation Analyst to join the HR team. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, analyzing, and administering compensation programs that attract, retain, and motivate top talent. You'll collaborate with HR partners and business leaders to ensure our compensation practices are competitive, equitable, and aligned with our strategic goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking to evaluate the competitiveness of compensation programs.
  • Analyze internal compensation data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the annual compensation review process, including merit increases, bonuses, and equity awards.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of salary structures and job classifications.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for HR leadership and business stakeholders.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to provide compensation guidance for new hires and promotions.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in compensation analysis or a related HR role.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in Excel and Workday (Required)
  • Familiarity with compensation survey tools (e.g., Radford, Mercer, Willis Towers Watson).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • CCP certification is a plus.

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, HYBRID
  • Compensation: $40-50ph.
