Job Description

Spread Joy, by joining our Volunteer Team!

Got an hour to spare and a love for good yarns and country tunes?

We're looking for a friendly volunteer to visit a gentleman with a big heart and a lifetime of stories. Once a fireman he's a fan of George Strait, Clint Black, footy, has a pet cat and used to enjoy lawn bowls. Originally from WA, now living in Sydney, he's hoping for some company and conversation each week.

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated. Your visits will bring great joy to the clients you are matched with.

HammondCare
