Our client has a deep appreciation for the outdoors and enjoys gardening, fishing, and spending time watching native wildlife. She would love the company of someone who shares these interests or is happy to simply chat over a cup of tea. This role involves regular visits to provide social interaction, light conversation, and shared enjoyment of hobbies.
Your impact
Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for 30 minutes to one hour visit between 9am and 4pm Monday to Sunday, visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.
