HammondCare is an independent Christian charity specialising in dementia care, palliative care, and rehabilitation, specialist mental health for older people and other health and aged services.

We are seeking a friendly volunteer to come and spend time with an elderly gentleman living at home in Millfield. He loves dogs and would enjoy meeting someone to join him to chat on his sunny veranda over a hot cuppa. If you would like to meet our Client or discuss volunteering in your area, please apply today!

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

- 18 years or older
- National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare
We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for a 30-minute to one-hour visit between 9 am and 4 pm Monday to Sunday. Visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.
