A Social Visits Volunteer who can make a meaningfuldifference - One visit at a time!

Are you someone who speaks Croatian or Serbian and whoenjoys a good chat? We're looking for a kind-hearted volunteer to visit athoughtful elderly lady who's feeling a bit lonely and would like a friendlyvolunteer to visit her. She would appreciate having a conversation in Croatianor Serbian, though she speaks and understands some English too. Your timeand company could make a world of difference. A friendly visit, a shared story,or a chat over a cuppa could truly lift her spirits.

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated. Your visits will bring great joy to the client you are matched with.

We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for a one hour visit between 9am and 4pm Monday to Sunday, visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.
