Community Manager (Affordable Housing)

Duration: Contract to hire
Schedule: Part-Time,Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-1:00 PM, 20 hours/week (Opportunity to go to 35 hours per week upon conversion to permanent hire)
Pay Range: $24-$28/hour DOE
Location: Onsite in North Portland

Overview:
LHH Recruitment is hiring a proactive and experienced Community Manager to lead resident engagement and property operations at an affordable housing site. This part-time, contract-to-hire role is ideal for someone who thrives in a mission-driven environment and is ready to take ownership of community success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations and resident relations.
  • Develop and implement community engagement strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with affordable housing regulations.
  • Coordinate with vendors, maintenance, and support teams.
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting for property performance.
  • Assist with leasing efforts and applications, ensuring occupancy stays within a certain range.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in property or community management.
  • Knowledge of affordable housing programs and compliance is a strong plus.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Experience using property management systems and MS Suite.

Growth Opportunity:
Upon conversion to a permanent hire, this role may expand to up to 35 hours/week, with potential for leadership development and strategic oversight.



Pay Details: $24.00 to $28.00 per hour
