This City Manager (CM) role leads the monitoring of multiple fulfillment sites across MENA. The CM ensures operational excellence, compliance, and timely launches while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. The position requires flexibility to work weekends and overnight shifts and regular travel to sites.
Responsibilities- Monitor operations of the assigned sites and deploy improvements.
- Identify useful data from multiple sources and take necessary actions.
- Foresee implications based on current data and trends.
- Notify situations promptly, solve problems, and prevent recurrence.
- Serve as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders while respecting objectives, limits, conformance, and information privacy.
- Train and direct associates to conform to norms and practices.
- Audit sites for operational conformance, restrictions, and norms.
- Conduct audits based on SOPs, analyze data, and propose features to improve the Seller experience.
- Willingness to travel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exposure to ERP, operations dashboards, and tools.
- Previous experience in first mile operation or online retail.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple sites simultaneously with attention to detail.
- Hold a valid UAE driving licence.
- Engineering graduate.
- Prior exposure to Warehouse Management System.
