This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate invoicing, timely revenue recognition, financial reporting, and compliance with internal policies. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working across cross-functional teams in a dynamic, global environment.
Core Responsibilities:Operational Excellence:
Ensure timely and accurate entry of invoices and oversee the complete AR monthly close process, including reporting for Global Business Services (GBS).
Support revenue accounting for both trade and non-trade transactions, ensuring proper treatment based on company policies.
Review and interpret AR aging schedules, propose provisions for doubtful accounts, and record journal entries upon approval.
Lead monthly reconciliation efforts between AR subledger and general ledger, investigating discrepancies and posting necessary adjustments.
Generate regular and ad-hoc financial reports to support revenue and receivables analysis.
Collaborate on the design and periodic assessment of revenue recognition methodologies.
Proactively manage day-to-day operational challenges and ensure timely resolution.
Performance & Compliance:
Meet service delivery expectations and performance metrics, ensuring alignment with corporate procedures and controls.
Operate in accordance with the global standard operating model and maintain accurate process documentation.
Serve as a subject matter expert within the AR and revenue accounting function, building in-depth knowledge of both global and local requirements.
Support business review meetings by contributing financial insights and process updates.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to streamline workflows and eliminate redundancies.
Participate in automation and transformation initiatives, helping drive adoption and change across relevant teams.
Share best practices and contribute to knowledge transfer within the organization.

Functional Knowledge:
In-depth experience in accounts receivable and revenue accounting processes.
Strong understanding of general accounting principles and month-end procedures.
Solid commercial awareness and financial analysis capabilities.
Technical Proficiency:
Proficient in accounting systems; SAP knowledge is a plus.
Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel for analysis and reporting.
Interpersonal Abilities:
Skilled at working in cross-functional teams and building strong professional relationships.
Effective communicator who can explain financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.

5-10 years of experience in accounts receivable, revenue accounting, or similar finance roles.
Background in multinational or shared service environments is highly desirable.
This position reports directly to the Receivables & Revenue Accounting Lead and works closely with Finance, Treasury, A2R, Customer Service, and the broader CI2C organization.
