PG Global is seeking an experienced Chief Officer to join an offshore support vessel operating in the Middle East. The chosen candidate will play a key role in ensuring safe vessel operations, cargo handling, and compliance with international maritime standards.
Responsibilities- Act as second-in-command, supporting the Master in all vessel operations.
- Oversee deck crew activities, including mooring, cargo, and offshore operations.
- Ensure vessel stability, ballast control, and cargo planning.
- Lead safety drills, emergency preparedness, and crew training.
- Maintain compliance with ISM, SOLAS, MARPOL, and flag state regulations.
- Prepare and submit operational and safety reports as required.
- Chief Mate Unlimited Certificate of Competency (STCW II/2).
- Minimum 24 months' sea service in rank on offshore support or DP vessels.
- Valid STCW, GMDSS, and offshore survival/medical certification.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- DP certification (advantageous).
