Job title: Chief Financial Officer
Location: Thames Valley (hybrid-working, at least 3 days in office required)
Salary: £150-170k base plus bonus and LTIP
Eton Bridge Partners is working exclusively with a fast-growing, PE-backed business seeking to appoint a new CFO. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced CFO/FD to join an award-winning, people-focused SME during a period of expansion. Reporting to the CEO and key business partner to the leadership team, this role will be hands-on in leading and developing the finance function, and providing strategic and commercial support to the group.
Key responsibilities:
- Ownership of all financial planning, budgeting and forecasting activities;
- Overseeing the production of timely and accurate reporting and ensuring robust financial controls are maintained across the group
- Managing working capital and cash flow to reduce debt while maximising sales and margin opportunities
- Maintaining a good working relationship with investors and external stakeholders (banks, auditors, etc)
- Providing financial, strategic and commercial support as necessary
- Leading and developing the finance team (c. 10 reports)
Candidate profile:
- Qualified accountant (ideally ACA/ACCA) of graduate calibre;
- A proven CFO/FD (No.1 in finance essential) with hands-on SME business experience, ideally in a PE-backed environments;
- Experience gained working within people-centred businesses highly preferable;
- International experience (working for a business with international entities and presence);
- Demonstrable experience of driving change, strategy and business performance
