Responsibilities 
- Greets customers, answers phones, and directs inquiries to the appropriate party.
- Answers routine billing questions/issues from customers.
- Assists in opening and closing the store, including cash handling and deposits.
- Completes, processes, and maintains applicable paperwork and records.
- Manages the daily till (cash/deposit) and till procedures.
- Handles goods and delivers them to clients.
- Optimizes greeting and service at the end of the sales transaction.
- Effectively trains and directs the activities of the cashier assigned to the front end and sets the standard for customer service.
- Performs opening and closing functions and maintains cash office files and reports accurately.
- Provides on-the-job training to junior cashiers.
- Accepts cash, cheques, wire transfers, or credit cards for payment and completes transactions according to established procedures.
- Ensures register/counter areas are neat and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Identifies prices of goods using memory or scanner.
- Enters transactions in the cash register and provides customers with the total bill.
- Sorts and counts currency and coins; issues receipts and change to customers.
- Counts money at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Processes credit card and check payments.
- Performs the duties of customer service representative when required.
- Assists in stocking shelves, rotating merchandise, and marking prices.
- Opens and closes tills.

- Prior experience in a cashier or similar role, preferably in luxury retail
- Strong numerical and data entry skills with attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism
