Job SummaryWe are looking for a Cashier to join our team at Haur-Fakkan. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling all financial transactions with customers in a professional and efficient manner. They must have the ability to accurately process payments, provide excellent customer service, and maintain the highest standards of safety and security.
Duties and Responsibilities- Greet customers as they approach the register
- Process payments using cash or card
- Count money in cash drawers to ensure there is an accurate amount of cash on hand
- Maintain a neat and organized environment
- Ensure that all transactions are completed accurately and efficiently
- Use basic math skills to calculate total purchase amounts
- Assist with other tasks as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in customer service or retail preferred
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with accuracy and professionalism
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Knowledge of basic math skills (adding, subtracting, etc.)
- Positive attitude towards customer service
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
