Our client, a dynamic player in the fashion industry, is seeking a Merchandiser to join their team. As a Merchandiser, you will be part of the product development department supporting designers and account managers.

Job Title: Merchandiser

Location: Winnipeg, MB

Pay Range: $50,000 - $55,000

What's the Job?

• Review new styles with Designers to understand vision and concept.
• Communicate style details and technical specification packages to overseas vendors.
• Track sample delivery from vendors and prepare sample packages for meetings.
• Build charts with accurate style information to support cost negotiations.
• Maintain communication with the manager regarding critical incidents and updates.

What's Needed?

• Degree or diploma in a related University or College Fashion/Textile Program.
• Ability to communicate technical information effectively to internal teams and overseas manufacturers.
• Basic computer skills; knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Excel is an asset.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
