Overview

We are currently seeking a Business Development Representative to work within our Global Marketing Team. You will collaborate with the Head of Demand Generation and the APAC sales team to execute campaigns and lead business development strategies. You should be a driven, high-energy individual who can identify, create and qualify sales opportunities through outbound, strategic and targeted account prospecting. You will develop a solid understanding of our products and be able to articulate our value proposition to customers to develop a pipeline of qualified leads and appointments for our APAC sales team. You will also be responsible for maintaining and managing the lead and opportunity records in Salesforce to ensure that all qualified information is available and up to date.

Responsibilities
  • Timely follow-up and accurate qualification of inbound inquiries and marketing campaign leads
  • Create strategic campaigns with Salesloft cadences, collaborating with sales representatives on key target accounts
  • Strategic outbound calling, email and prospecting cadences into new and existing accounts
  • Maintaining and leveraging the database of prospects to effectively identify new targets for sales and marketing
  • Ability to gather key information and insight into target organisations
  • Identifying decision makers amongst the targeted leads to start the sales process
  • Building relationships with decision makers in target accounts
  • Strong focus on customer experience ensuring a smooth transition to the field sales team
  • Capturing of accurate and complete information in SFDC
  • Building relationships with Sales team
What we're looking for / Must have skills
  • Excellent tele-prospecting and qualification skills
  • Experience in outbound sales lead development targeting executives within large enterprises. Financial Services, Insurance, Government and Healthcare experience is a plus
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly energetic and self-starter
  • Able to work in fast-paced environment
  • Highly proficient level computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
  • Highly proficient with Salesforce/alternate CRM
  • Highly proficient with online database tools (Salesloft, Cognism and LinkedIn Navigator)

Compensation & Benefits

Salary is competitive and based on experience, with an annual bonus based on company performance. Benefits include vision benefits, subsidised gym membership, 20 days holiday plus birthday day off. Hybrid work arrangement with occasional office days in Sydney and Canberra.
