Business Cost Analyst
Location: Camberley
Salary: 40,000- 48,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm
My client based in Camberley who are within the food industry are seeking a Cost Analyst to come on and join their team. To apply for this role you will need to have previous experience working in a similar role and industry.
Daily Duties:
Develop, deploy and challenge the commercials offered to customers, which promotes growth and increases Business profitability
Create and improve detailed financial models that track and analyse functional costs and their impact on the companies overall performance
Analyse sales trends and identify the key drivers adding revenue advantages
Challenge performance and make recommendations to improve sales and margins
Own the marketing and sales support forecasting, and work with the Business to ensure accuracy based on operational performance
Analyse and review Trade Promotions, to understand the performance of historic and future activities to ensure effective use of Company resources
Identify and initiate improvements to company BI tools and reporting towards product/customer/channel profitability reporting
Manage internal and external pricing
Creating pricing files and maintaining internal and external price lists within the ERP
Work with the NPD team to ensure robust forecasting and stock cover of all new products
Create effective measures, controls, processes, and procedures to manage pricing and Business risk
Competitor price comparison data acquisition, monitoring and reporting
Advise and make recommendations in the development of marketing campaign profit parameters.
Pulling insights from data, working with the marketing team to manage revenue risks associated with advertising and marketing efforts
Develop monthly reporting and new business profitability reporting to drive Pricing Review meetings
