Business Associate - Commercial

We're excited to offer a rare opportunity for a seasoned Business Associate to join our Offshore Remote East Commercial team, based at our Brisbane head office in Cannon Hill.

This is a permanent, full-time role working Monday to Friday, with a 38-hour week.

As the Commercial Business Associate, you'll be the key commercial lead across our Offshore Remote East contracts, providing strategic financial support to our operations team.

• Deliver accurate and timely end-of-month management reporting, including P&L preparation and balance sheet reconciliations
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes
• Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies
• Drive invoicing accuracy, ensure contract compliance, and enhance commercial awareness across operational teams
• Provide financial and commercial guidance to operational managers
• Produce performance reporting and analysis to support strategic decision-making
• Lead and manage a team of two direct reports
• Support retention strategies, bid modelling, and business growth initiatives
• Perform other ad hoc duties as required

• Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting
• CA or CPA qualification (highly desirable)
• Experience with Oracle accounting systems (desirable)
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience
• Strong technical and analytical capabilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and influence senior leadership
• Demonstrated experience in delivering advanced financial support and insights through well-presented analytics
• Skilled in budgeting and reporting across multiple service lines
