HammondCare is an independent Christian charity specializing in dementia care, palliative care, rehabilitation, and other health and aged services.
Let your voice and love of bingo shine as you volunteer at HammondCare Woy Woy with residents who have dementia or may be frail and elderly. You'll find it very rewarding as you assist and call the games and watch as residents enjoy a popular pastime.
Your Impact
Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated. Your visits will bring great joy to the clients you are matched with.
• 18 years or older
• National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare
• NDIS screening
The commitment is one hour per week for a minimum of 6 months. We would be delighted to talk with you about a suitable day and time during the week (Monday to Friday).
