Job Title: BIM MEP Coordinator

Reports to: BIM Manager

Job Description Summary

BIM Coordinator is an integral part of the design team who leads and coordinates the process of generating digital models and integrated data often referred to as Information about a project, from the design stage to the construction stage.

Job Responsibilities

Review, check, audit, and resubmit all models of LOD 400 & LOD 500.
Support the Project Delivery Team on a day-to-day basis for BIM implementation activities
Provide progress and performance updates on a weekly/ monthly basis.
Record, store, and maintain all formal correspondences related to BIM activities
Ensure all received unapproved models by subcontractors are audited, and exported using Revit as the local authoring tool.
Ensure the highest quality for all BIM package submissions in accordance with Project standards, requirements, and the BIM execution plan
Perform Quality Assurance and Control checks on models and maintain track of geometrical and non-geometrical information compliance with the Project's BIM requirements
Lead internal and attend external coordination meetings
Review, monitor, and report the development of clash interference and fully coordinated models
Prepare discipline model and/or content for internal reviews and coordination meetings
Supervise the BIM modelers, collaborate and coordinate with the Design/ engineers team for any model challenges
Coordinate and review models using Autodesk Revit and Navisworks.
Coordinate with subcontractors
Experience in some or all the following systems: (BMU Systems, Escalators, Travelators, Elevators/Lifts, Passenger and Baggage Screening, Information and Communication Technology, Satellite Communication Room, Security Access Control, TETRA System, Video Surveillance System)
Update the model logs and related documents
Experience in Bentley Open building software
Experience in BS-EN-ISO-19660 BIM standards.

Minimum Skills Or Requirements

A degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years experience as BIM MEP Coordinator
Demonstrate experience in required software (Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Bentley, MS Project, Excel, MS Word, etc.).
Industry BIM Certification (Revit Professional)
Good communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills are essential.
