There is nothing better than a home cooked cake, so what better way to make our residents feel at home than with a delicious morning or afternoon tea, made with love.
Each cottage has a fully functioning kitchen - just like the one you would have at home. We'll provide you with everything you need to prepare and cook your sweet treats.
Your impactVolunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.
HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
HammondCareHammondCare is an independent Christian charity and we're passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need. We have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of people cared for by HammondCare.

RequirementsWe'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for a one hour visit between 9am and 4pm Monday to Sunday, visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.

- National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
