Auto detailing manager

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Auto Detailing Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our detailing department. This individual will be responsible for managing the detailing team, ensuring high-quality service standards, maintaining workflow efficiency, and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise, train, and schedule the auto detailing staff
• Ensure all vehicles are cleaned and detailed to company standards, including interior and exterior services
• Inspect finished vehicles for quality assurance and perform rework if necessary
• Maintain inventory of detailing supplies and order as needed
• Monitor productivity and adjust workflows to meet deadlines and volume demands
• Manage customer expectations and resolve service-related issues professionally
• Ensure the team follows all safety protocols and uses equipment properly
• Keep the detailing area clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards
• Collaborate with upper management to improve service processes and customer experience
• Provide performance feedback and coaching to team members
• Track and report daily productivity, materials usage, and quality metrics

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required; relevant certifications are a plus
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in auto detailing, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
• Ability to multitask and manage a fast-paced work environment
• Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with detailing products and equipment
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
