The Company
One of our clients based in Abu Dhabi and active within the Oil & Gas sector is currently looking for an Audit Manager to assist the Internal Audit Director.
The Role- You will provide assurance that risk exposures are well managed, control framework and corporate governance processes are in place, effective, and efficient, and that improvements are sustained and supported.
- You will assist the Internal Audit Director in the development of audit strategies and plans.
- You will manage a team of auditors.
- You will oversee the delivery of audits by third parties.
- You will maintain up-to-date status on all reported audit observations.
- MUST possess a Bachelor degree in Accounting/Business Administration or Engineering/IT.
- Professional certification from an accredited institution (ACA, CIA, ACCA, CPA).
- MUST HAVE at least 8 years of experience in Internal Audit + 4 years in a managerial role.
- Relevant industry experience is highly preferable, especially skills such as construction project auditing.
- Excellent command of English, both verbal and written.
