Associate Financial Reporting Fixed Term Contract

Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

We are seeking an experienced Associate Financial Reporting professional to join Mubadala on a fixed term contract. The role focuses on coordinating and overseeing group level statutory and regulatory reporting, ensuring compliance with IFRS and internal frameworks, and driving continuous improvement across Mubadala's financial reporting processes.

• Oversee execution of core group level reporting processes to consolidate statutory and regulatory reports.
• Implement and maintain the statutory reporting framework in accordance with IFRS, ensuring accurate, compliant disclosures.
• Prepare consolidated financial and statutory reports in collaboration with Platform Finance teams for review by senior leadership.
• Provide timely and insightful reporting, meeting management set deadlines.
• Develop regulatory returns and quality assure input data to validate integrity of disclosures.
• Identify and recommend enhancements to the finance governance manual to embed best practice statutory reporting.
• Implement functional policies, processes, and procedures to ensure consistent work quality.
• Support communication with external stakeholders (auditors, regulatory bodies) and facilitate regulatory compliant disclosures.
• Collaborate with Platform Finance to investigate and resolve reporting issues and build reporting capability across investee companies.
• Manage consultants and auditors, escalating complex issues as required.
• Contribute to group wide finance initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
• Contribute to functional reporting and support timely and accurate functional reports.
• Identify opportunities for professional development and support junior colleagues.
• Perform additional related duties as directed.

• Minimum 4 years of experience in financial and statutory reporting within large organisations.
• Strong consulting and audit background, ideally from a Big 4 or equivalent firm.
• Fully qualified Chartered Accountant.
• UAE National - Applicants must be UAE nationals.
