Associate Director (Cost & QS)

The Role: Associate Director - Privately Owned Cost Consultancy seeking an Associate Director based from Abu Dhabi to cover the UAE. Exciting times for this business as they enter 70 years operating across Asia, MENA, North America & Europe. We are seeking an Associate Director to help drive this growth phase for our agile Cost Consultancy. This group offers the right Associate Director the chance to make decisions and drive both profit and growth into new regions. You will hands on drive the business managing key accounts, business development, commercial assignments and team performance. Working alongside another key individual you will have responsibility for P&L, strategy and the direction of this group in the UAE. Due to an internal promotion and a key senior figure relocating to another office this is why the right director must be secured. The management see this person being a qualified Quantity Surveyor with 10 Years experience handling the full life cycle of works for consultancies or contractors. • Hands-on drive the business managing key accounts, business development, commercial assignments and team performance.
• Share responsibility for P&L, strategy and the direction of the UAE group.
• Collaborate with another senior leader and build strong relationships to support growth in new regions.

• Qualified Quantity Surveyor / Contracts Administrator with a relevant Construction Degree, either Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
• 10 years of experience within the industry.
• Middle East experience - you have a network in the UAE and understand how business is done. Not a position to learn on the job.
• Confident and client-facing with exemplary communication skills.
• Able to lead, mentor and upskill a team of Quantity Surveyors.
• Capable and assured to hold meaningful conversations with clients to understand their needs and stresses in relation to investments, projects and solutions.
• Embodies teamwork and collaboration as a major pillar of the business.
• Focused, organized and a self-starter; these aspects are critical for this role.

Salary: AED 47,500 to 52,500 per month inclusive of fixed allowances. Additional benefits: Flights, Bonus, Family Visas & Gratuity.
