Job Title: Assistant Portfolio Manager - Affordable Housing
Location: Onsite in Portland, OR (occasional travel to properties within Portland area)
Employment Type: Direct Hire, Full-Time (Monday-Friday)
Compensation: $26 - $28 per hour

Position Overview:LHH Recruitment is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Portfolio Manager to support the oversight of a portfolio of affordable housing properties. This is a full-time, direct hire position based in Portland, OR, with occasional travel to property sites. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in affordable housing-either as an Assistant Property Manager or Property Manager-and a strong understanding of compliance and operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the Portfolio Manager in day-to-day operations across multiple affordable housing properties
- Assist with compliance monitoring and reporting for HUD, LIHTC, and other affordable housing programs
- Coordinate with on-site property teams to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to policies
- Help prepare budgets, financial reports, and performance summaries
- Participate in property inspections and site visits
- Provide administrative support including scheduling, documentation, and communication with stakeholders
Required Qualifications:- Minimum 2 years of experience in affordable housing management (as an Assistant Property Manager or Property Manager)
- Familiarity with affordable housing regulations and compliance standards
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to travel locally to property sites as needed
Pay Details: $26.00 to $28.00 per hour
