The Bridge Church is seeking a part-time Female Congregational Pastor to be part of a Congregational Team that pastors, leads and equips our members, with the aim of seeing people live for Jesus and love like Jesus.

The OpportunityWe are looking for a theologically trained, suitably qualified, female congregational pastor to join our ministry team here at The Bridge Church, working part-time (3-4 days per week).
As a relationally rich church, your heart will be pastoral, with a desire to teach and disciple within several congregations in our church, and you will be motivated to see the five distinctives of our church actively at work. These distinctives are joyful gatherings, deep discipleship, real relationships, engaging evangelism and radical God centred generosity.
Your role will also involve service leading in our gatherings, equipping and empowering our members, welcoming and integrating newcomers and fostering involvement in our outreach programs.
We would welcome applicants with a broad experience base for this exciting role. You will report to the Campus Pastor and stipend will be in accordance with the diocesan remuneration guidelines, based on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities- Shepherding the flock through teaching, correcting, encouragement & prayer
- Potential for occasional solo or team preaching, in discussion with Senior Pastor
- Working through the congregational team to establish congregational culture, shaped and aligned to the five distinctives of The Bridge Church
- Overseeing women's ministry at your campus and raising up future leaders
- Praying regularly for the congregations
- Person of Christian Character with demonstrated commitment to Reformed Evangelical Christian values.
- A life that demonstrates grace and the transforming sanctifying work of God
- A passionate love for both Christ and his church, and a desire to see lives transformed by the gospel
- A servant heart that is willing to commit to the mission and direction of the Bridge Church
- Teachable and willing to learn, with an ability to work both with and under authority, in the context of our ministry team and under the leadership of the Senior Pastor
- BTh degree preferred or working towards degree in Ministry
- Proven ability to teach the Bible faithfully, clearly, and practically
- Proven ability in pastoral care amongst congregations and community
- Proven ability to lead and train groups and ministry teamsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- A willingness to learn, grow, and adjust as the job may require
