About the RoleAt Pest-End, we don't just kill bugswe protect public health and property across apartment complexes, college campuses, hospitals, and more. As our newest IPM Technician specializing in multi-unit properties, you'll be on the front lines of smart, science-backed pest management.
You'll troubleshoot. You'll educate. You'll outthink and outmaneuver pests using proactive, integrated strategiesnot just sprays and traps. Every day brings a new puzzleand a chance to protect hundreds of residents, students, or patients from unwanted guests.
What You'll Be DoingConduct thorough inspections of multi-unit properties (think: apartment buildings, healthcare facilities, universities)
Identify pest issues, root causes, and environmental conditions that contribute to infestations
Design and implement tailored, eco-conscious IPM programs
Partner with property managers and maintenance teams to stay ahead of pest risks
Keep detailed records and use technology for tracking, scheduling, and reporting
Be the face of Pest-End's commitment to health, safety, and customer care
What We're Looking ForA curiosity-driven, problem-solving mindset
Experience in pest control (especially in multi-unit or commercial environments) is a plusbut not required
Strong communication skills (you'll be working with everyone from building supers to college deans)
A valid driver's license and clean driving record
Willingness to work in the field, learn continuously, and earn relevant certifications

Work Environment and Schedule:
This is a primarily field-based role, with typical work hours falling between 5:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Some after-hours work may be required to meet operational demands. The role also includes rotating on-call responsibilities on scheduled Saturdays.
Physical Requirements:
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and occasional crawling
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, including shifting small furniture or lifting mattresses during inspections
Specific vision abilities, including close, distance, peripheral vision, and depth perception
Comfortable working indoors in multi-unit residential and commercial settings, including tight spaces like utility closets, under sinks, and behind appliances

Compensation details: 20-26 Hourly Wage
