Provider Specialty: Physician - Anesthesiology

Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient

Contract: September 2025 - ongoing

Schedule Options: Primary need for weeknight call from 330p-730p, day shift is 730a-330p

Job Details

  • Seeking Anesthesiologists to provide ongoing locums coverage at multispecialty facility in Indiana starting September 2025.
  • Schedule Requirements:
    • At least 3 weeknights per month (opportunity for more shifts will increase in future)
    • Call shifts 330p-730a
      • Primary call - IN HOUSE
      • Secondary call - 30 mins
    • Day shifts 730a-330p
  • EMR: Medaxion
  • 4MDs and 6CRNAs scheduled every day
    • 1 provider on post-call day off from first call - 9 providers working per day
    • 7 providers at main hospital with 2 providers in late room and 2 in ASC
    • Supervision: None
  • 8 ORs
  • Procedures Required:
    • High-acuity cases - mostly general,endo,ortho, urology, high-risk OB (includingVBACs),GYN, cancer, liver
      • Endo is mainly at the ASC (close to 2100 cases per year)
    • Some vascular, ENT, Radiology with Anesthesia, Cosmetics, Podiatry, Pulmonary, very light Cardiac lungs and major vascular
    • Blocks: bread & butter blocks, interscalene, supreclavicular, axillary, adductor popliteal & TAPS
    • Must be proficient in spinals, blocks, and epidurals
  • Credentialingtimeline: 60-90 days
    • Temps/emergency privileges - AVAILABLE with clear background/malpractice history and an active, unrestricted license

Required Qualifications

  • Board Certified MD/DO - REQUIRED
  • IN Active license - REQUIRED
  • BLS/ACLS/PALS (must be AHA certified) - REQUIRED
  • Caselogs of epidurals, spinals, blocks - REQUIRED
