Overview

Kitopi is a creator of magical food experiences-we discover, create, and curate homegrown brands from the region, for the region. Launched in Dubai, UAE, in January 2018, Kitopi has grown to become one of the greatest success stories in the food tech space. By July 2021, Kitopi achieved Unicorn status, becoming the fastest company in the MENA region to reach this milestone. Kitopi's growth has been fueled by its innovative and scalable software solutions, including the Smart Kitchen Operating System (SKOS). Kitopi currently operates 200+ locations across the UAE, KSA, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Qatar, with Customer Experience Center in Amman, Jordan, and an Engineering Hub in Krakow, Poland.

The Data Analytics COE Manager is responsible for building and running Kitopi's central analytics enablement layer - ensuring all business units operate on consistent, reliable, and cost-efficient data. This role acts as the bridge between the business and the central data team, defining standards, managing certified datasets, enforcing governance, and enabling self-service analytics across the organization.

What You'll Do
  • Define and maintain company-wide KPI and metric definitions (e.g., revenue, retention, margin).
  • Manage certified data models (SQL/dbt) used by functional analytics teams.
  • Oversee documentation, data catalog, and semantic layer quality.
Governance & Quality
  • Enforce role-based access and data certification processes.
  • Establish data quality checks, alerts, and version control for analytics assets.
  • Maintain change management workflows for metrics and dashboards.
Self-Service Enablement
  • Curate and maintain the library of certified datasets and dashboards.
  • Train and support functional analysts through documentation, office hours, and workshops.
  • Track BI tool usage, dashboard adoption, and user feedback.
Cost & Performance Oversight
  • Monitor data platform and BI tool costs; recommend optimizations.
  • Partner with data engineering to ensure performant queries and efficient compute usage.
Cross-Functional Alignment
  • Serve as the single point of contact for data-related standards across teams.
  • Work closely with marketing, ops, finance, and product analysts to ensure consistency and alignment.
What We Are Looking For
  • 6-10 years of experience in data analytics, analytics engineering, or BI operations.
  • Hands-on experience with modern data stacks (Snowflake/BigQuery, dbt, Looker/Power BI, Airflow, etc.).
  • Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
  • Experience managing or enabling distributed analytics teams.
  • Excellent communication skills; able to translate technical data topics into business terms.
Benefits
  • Extensive learning opportunities with hard and soft skill training.
  • Customized workshops run by the Kitopi Academy.
  • International, diverse, and inclusive environment.
  • Inclusive private health insurance.
  • Up to 50% discount on Kitopi brands.
  • Annual leave as per the company policy.
  • Wellness spaces designed for mothers; monthly well-being programs and webinars.
  • Social Thursdays and Fridays across markets to connect with colleagues.
  • Free and unlimited access to a nutritionist.
  • No Dress Code (T&C applies).
