Location: Redbridge / Reigate Library area

Hours: 15 hours per week

Start: As soon as possible

We are seeking experienced and patient tutors to support a 15-year-old learner with SEND who benefits from a calm, consistent, and understanding approach. The learner is sensitive and requires a supportive environment to build confidence and engagement in Science, Maths, and English.

About the Role:

1:1 tuition for a young person with special educational needs (SEND)
Focus on core subjects: English, Maths, and Science
Sessions based at Reigate Library (or nearby suitable community venue)
15 hours per week (flexible scheduling possible)
Ongoing, long-term opportunity for the right tutor(s)

We are looking for tutors who:

Have experience supporting young people with SEND, including anxiety, sensory needs, or emotional regulation difficulties
Are calm, patient, and encouraging in their approach
Can adapt learning to the student's pace and interests
Hold relevant qualifications and/or experience in teaching or tutoring
Are reliable, professional, and committed to consistent engagement

Requirements:

Enhanced DBS (on the update service or willing to obtain one)
Right to work in the UK
Experience in tutoring or teaching (QTS desirable but not essential)

Pay:

Competitive hourly rate depending on experience
