AI & Emerging Tech Manager

Sumwon Studios is seeking a forward thinking leader to own and drive our use of AI across product, marketing, and operations. You will ensure we are always ahead of the curve, making our product flow quicker, smarter, and more responsive to cultural and consumer trends. From design ideation to customer validation to launch, you will use AI tools and workflows to shorten lead times, enhance quality, and connect with consumers in real time.

• Develop AI assisted design pipelines to accelerate trend translation into products (e.g. generating multiple design concepts, recolours, and silhouettes).
• Implement customer feedback loops (e.g. social voting on design prototypes such as Nano Banana concepts) to validate demand before production.
• Build AI workflows that reduce time to market and increase success rates.
• Deploy AI tools for campaign creative (image/video generation, copywriting, ad testing).
• Monitor and leverage trend signals from social platforms using AI driven listening and prediction.
• Drive experiments in content personalisation and community engagement using AI.
• Introduce automation and AI driven processes across merchandising, demand forecasting, and customer experience.
• Partner with technology vendors and start ups to pilot cutting edge AI solutions.
• Develop playbooks and train teams to adopt AI into daily workflows.

• Proven experience applying AI and automation to product or marketing in a fast paced consumer, fashion, or e commerce environment.
• Strong understanding of generative AI (image/video/text), social listening, and data driven product workflows.
• Strategic mindset with hands on ability to build and test prototypes.
• Ability to translate emerging AI trends into practical business impact.
• Entrepreneurial, experimental, and highly collaborative approach.
