Based in Pittsburgh, this industry-leading software company is a well-established player in the healthcare software space, providing a complex B2B software solution that literally saves lives. They are growing their software solution offering and are looking to bring on an impactful Product Owner to work closely with vendors (healthcare SaaS solution companies) to integrate their products, which will impact the business by growing their addressable market.
You Will:
- Own and drive the product roadmap, holding accountability for the product strategy that best meets client/user needs
- Manage the backlog and craft detailed user stories and translate user requests into terminology developers understand
- Work in an agile environment and participate in Scrum
- Work with dev to commit backlog items to sprint deliverables (negotiate deliverables)
- Manage vendor partnerships and relationships to drive the integration of their software solutions
- Work hand-in-hand with the Engineering and QA team
- Work across the org internally and interface heavily with external partners
- Work onsite in Pittsburgh 1-2 days/week or be open to traveling to the office about one week/month
You Will Need:
- 4+ years as a Product Owner or Technical Product Manager for a healthcare software solution
- Experience in healthcare software with knowledge of HL7 standards for health data
- Client-facing experience, ideally managing vendor integrations
- Strong knowledge of product management best practices and processes, including product roadmap ownership
- Experience in Agile, having owned the SDLC
- SaaS or cloud-based product experience
- Ability to translate non-technical concepts (like user stories, customer needs, etc) into technical requirements, and communicate well with technical teams
- Be located in Pittsburgh or comfortable traveling about one week/month

- Technical degree (Engineering, Computer Science, etc)
- Previous work as a Software Engineer
