Our Aged Care Visitor program aims to reduce loneliness and isolation experienced by older Australians. We are looking for a female visitor who can speak Pakistani Urdu for an elderly lady in Oxenford.
The roleIf you can give up time to volunteer between 10am and 10.30am Mondays and/or Sundays (before lunch) with a lady in her own home in Oxenford, we would love to talk with you. Visits are relaxed with short conversations in Urdu around this lady's interests of painting and drawing with added chats around general current affairs.
Need to knowCovid-19 and Flu vaccinations. We offer training support. Commitment 20 weeks min. Wheelchair access.
